Peebles FC Fundraising Challenge

27/05/2026

On Saturday 13th June, Matthew Sullivan and Richard Edge, along with coaches, players, volunteers and members of the Peebles FC community will take on a huge challenge at Cademuir Hill. Their goal is to climb the equivalent height of Denali - the highest mountain in North America - by repeatedly walking and running routes up Cademuir over the course of a single day. Together, they’ll cover more than 6,000m of elevation and over 100km.
This challenge takes place alongside the Peebles FC Annual Football Festival and the start of Scotland’s World Cup campaign, making it a brilliant weekend for the whole club and community.
Peebles FC has been part of the community since 2006, providing football for children and young people from age 4 upwards in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Everything we do is powered by volunteers. They’re raising funds to improve the club’s facilities, helping create a better environment for all of our players now and in the future.
They’d love your support — whether that’s through donations, sponsorship, sharing the challenge, or simply cheering everyone on throughout the day. ⚽️??
